One of the principles of our clinic is patient education. Therefore, social initiatives, educational campaigns, and health-promoting actions are an integral part of our activities. We demonstrate and teach that the dental office is a friendly and safe place where you can expect professional treatment in excellent conditions and without pain.
We have been carrying out this initiative since October 2011. Through it, we raise awareness among children and their parents about modern and painless dental treatment. We educate parents about the importance of regular dental visits and cavity prevention. We provide tips on tooth care, offer free appointments for adaptation visits, and advise on what to do when a child has a toothache. We demonstrate how cavities are treated today and how children are anesthetized. We make parents aware of the current state of orthodontic treatment and its impact on their children's health.
Our goal is for the youngest to become a generation that grows up without fear of the dentist. Through play, we teach children proper oral care, and we convince parents that today's level of knowledge, materials, and dental equipment ensure painless and stress-free treatment.
"Education with a Smile" is the first educational campaign of its kind in Małopolska, aimed at children. Through games and activities, we familiarize the youngest with dental treatment. We also reassure parents. It turns out that often it's their fear, not the child's, that causes them to avoid dental appointments - says Dr. Dariusz Wilisowski from Luxdentica Dental Center, the author of the campaign.
In February 2012, we launched the campaign 'We Don't Smoke! We Smile!' Breaking conventional stereotypes, we aimed to convince smokers that modern dentistry can restore a natural and healthy smile for everyone. Our initiative not only offers advice to smokers on maintaining oral hygiene but also includes a set of treatments that improve dental aesthetics and restore dental defects caused by smoking. The campaign covers conservative treatment, implantology, and aesthetic dentistry.
We also raise awareness among smokers about the impact of smoking on dental and oral health. Prolonged smoking accelerates the development of cavities, promotes the onset of periodontal diseases, and acute and chronic gum diseases. Smokers are more prone to gum bleeding. Smoking also affects tooth aesthetics - a smoker's teeth are never truly white, showing characteristic spots and discoloration.
As part of the campaign, smokers have access to dental consultations, dental hygiene treatments (sandblasting), teeth whitening using the BEYOND method or tray-based methods, comprehensive implantological treatments, conservative treatments (cavity treatments), and aesthetic procedures to restore a healthy and beautiful smile.
The aim of this preventive campaign is to promote oral health among pregnant women and new mothers. Through education and fun activities, we encourage mothers to have more regular check-ups and dental treatments. We show what treatments are acceptable and safe during pregnancy and after it. We also teach young mothers how to care for the oral health of their infants.
As part of this campaign, mothers can benefit from free consultations, adaptation visits with their child, workshops on oral hygiene, and advice from dentists and pediatric dentists. In a friendly atmosphere, we organize meetings with doctors. During these sessions, you can learn how the condition of oral health affects the health of the fetus and understand the oral hygiene of a newborn.
We break the stereotypes surrounding dental care for pregnant women and new mothers. By participating in the program, you will learn: how to treat teeth during pregnancy, whether it's possible to transmit cavities to a child, and how the mother's oral health affects the child's health. Our specialists guide expectant mothers throughout the entire pregnancy period and even after the child's birth, providing care for both the mother and the baby.
In November 2014, we initiated a campaign as a tribute to all wonderful grandmothers. Together with the Editorial Team of Twój Ruczaj.pl and our partners, we invited three ladies, who already have grandchildren, to participate in a 2-month beauty project. Its culmination took place on Grandparents' Day in January 2015. The result was a positive image change for our heroines.
Grandmothers received packages of services sponsored by Luxdentica Dental Center, Madame Katrina Beauty Salon, Europejka Fitness, Elite Hair Salon, MahaPunje Massage and Cosmetics, Kliny Optician, and Pan&Cake Cafe Bakery as a gift.
