Preparation for conscious sedation
Analgosedation, or intravenous sedation, is a safe method supporting dental treatment. It involves the administration of sedative and analgesic drugs by an anesthesiologist, which keeps the patient relaxed, free of anxiety or pain, and usually with no memory of the procedure after its completion. Throughout the entire time, the patient remains under the care of the anesthesiologist and cooperates with the treating dentist.
