Bio
I am a graduate of neurolopedics with elements of audiology and phoniatrics at the Jagiellonian University Medical College. I also graduated in speech therapy and pedagogy at the Pedagogical University of Krakow, and Slavic philology at the Jagiellonian University. I specialize in myofunctional diagnosis and therapy (including using the MFS system) for people of all ages – before, during, and after orthodontic treatment. I conduct therapy for individuals with dysfunctions of the masticatory motor system, as well as those preparing for surgical corrections of oral frenulums, ensuring appropriate pre-operative preparation and post-operative therapy and rehabilitation. In my work, I also utilize Buteyko breathing training, which includes learning nasal breathing and developing a correct breathing pattern. Among other benefits, it supports orthodontic treatment and can be used for individuals with breathing disorders, asthma, snoring, sleep apnea, anxiety, or symptoms related to chronic stress. Properly conducted breathing training can support improvements in sleep quality, concentration, and overall well-being, as well as help reduce tension. Furthermore, I work with people who have speech defects, delayed speech development, and incorrect voice emission. I am guided by the belief that the human body functions as an interconnected whole. Therefore, I place particular emphasis on a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to therapy, and on tailoring its course to the individual needs of each person. I constantly expand my knowledge and competence by participating in numerous courses, training sessions, and conferences. I view professional development as an integral part of my work and an opportunity to provide patients with care that aligns with current knowledge and therapeutic standards.
