Joanna Charuza-Kanclerz

I am a physiotherapist, a graduate of the Academy of Physical Education in Krakow, currently undergoing specialization in physiotherapy. My primary area of education and long-term practice is orthopedic physiotherapy. Over time, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) therapy has become a particular focus of my interest, in which I constantly expand my knowledge and competence. I have completed numerous training courses in manual therapy, cranial therapy, fascial therapy, temporomandibular joint therapy, and visceral therapy. I combine clinical work with teaching as an academic lecturer, while constantly developing my skills and expanding my knowledge. In my work, I place the greatest importance on finding the cause of the problem, rather than just treating its symptoms. I examine each patient broadly and in detail, trying to understand the mechanism behind the ailment and all the factors that may influence it. I believe that such an approach allows for lasting therapeutic results, which are one of the most important goals of my work with patients. An interdisciplinary approach occupies a very important place in my work – both in the field of dentistry and broadly understood medicine. Thanks to my extensive clinical experience, I can not only conduct therapy within my competence, but also help in planning the further diagnostic and therapeutic process. If the problem goes beyond the scope of physiotherapy, I help the patient determine the next step and indicate which specialist it is worth consulting. My goal is to provide the most comprehensive care possible and to help find the best way to solve the patient's problem.
