As a standard practice for procedures, we use an anesthetic called Ubistesin by 3M ESPE. It is currently the least toxic amide-based anesthetic substance. It is specifically designed for performing local anesthesia in dentistry. The drug easily penetrates both hard and soft tissues, but it doesn't cross the blood-brain barrier and placental barrier, making it inherently safer.
It's the only drug available on the market that is simultaneously metabolized in the blood and the liver, allowing for a rapid elimination from the body.
