Invisalign is a modern, innovative method of orthodontic treatment. Malocclusion correction is carried out using transparent aligners, made in a laboratory and customized for a specific Patient, based on an individual treatment plan, precise diagnostics, and a digital smile design. The aesthetic aligners, made of a transparent special material, are virtually invisible, providing the comfort of normal functioning and at the same time the awareness that our teeth are undergoing orthodontic correction.
Step-by-step orthodontic treatment
Invisalign is digitally designed and custom-made for each Patient. Treatment begins with diagnostics and a computer-based smile design. Thanks to visualization, our Patients can see the final result even before putting on the transparent aligners. The aligners prepared in the laboratory are handed over to the Patient along with instructions for their use. The Patient can independently remove them for 2 hours during the day (they should be worn for 22 hours), during which time they can, for example, comfortably brush their teeth. Self-discipline is important here – the Patient must adhere to the wearing time of the aligners so that the orthodontic treatment proceeds correctly and within the planned timeframe. A major advantage is the independence in using Invisalign aligners – as a result, follow-up visits to the orthodontist are less frequent than in the case of treatment with fixed braces.
